PCI ATM AdapterThe 5575 provides high performance full duplex ATM connectivity for
demanding server applications, with hardware support for advanced traffic
management capabilities. With the (i)chip+, Interphases next generation ATM
SAR, the 5575 simultaneously supports a wide range of ATM service classes
including Available Bit Rate (ABR), Constant Bit Rate (CBR) and Unspecified Bit
Rate (UBR). The 5575 also provides support for multiple protocols via RFC 1577
and ATM Forum LAN Emulation, allowing users to migrate existing networks to
ATM using standard protocols such as TCP/IP, IPX, AppleTalk, NetBIOS and others
over switched virtual circuits. These protocols are transparent to the end-stations
and require no additional set-up or configuration. And, Cellview, a full featured GUI
management tool, simplifies the installation and configuration of Interphase ATM
adapter cards.
