2.4 Gbit/s Mux/Demux
The VCS8023/VCS8024 chipset is designed to provide a SDH/SONET compliant interface between the PM5312 STTX or the PM 5355 S/UNI-622 fro mPMC Sierra and a SDH/SONET compliant 2.488 Gb/s interface. The chipset allows one to create an ATM UNI or ATM-1 to STM-16 link. Both the mux and the demux are packaged in a 192 TBGA for optimum high-speed package performance.
