155Mbps SONET/SDH ATM Receiver/Transmitter
The 1500 is Texas Instruments single chip SONET/SDH device capable of transporting ATM cells over the SONET/SDH network at the STS-3c/STM-1 rate of 155.52 Mbps. The 1500 includes an integrated clock recovery, clock generation circuit, and all logic required to insert and extract 53-byte ATM cells into/from a STS-3c/STM-1 Synchronous Payload Envelope (SPE). When the TNETA1500 is used in conjunction with a TI SAR device TNETA1560 (SBUS SAR) or the TNETA1561(PCI SAR); highly integrated ATM/SONET/SDH adaptercard solutions are achievable.
