MU9C1480
The MU9C1480 LANCAM address translator provides VPI/VCI address translation using a 64-kbit (1K x 64-bit entries) CAM. Each entry can be partitioned into CAM and associated data RAM. The chip supports ATM cell switching up to 200 Mbps. Faster versions are available on request. A sophisticated search structure aids multi casting. Mask registers allow comparison based on a VPI only basis as well as on a VPI/VCI basis. Access to the device is via a16-bit bus. A d evelopment kit, which includes VLbus or ISA bus card and development software cost 195 USD.
